2023 Henrico Summer Academy

Summer Academy 2023 offers a unique opportunity for our currently enrolled Pre-K to Grade 5 students.  At no cost to HCPS families, learners have the opportunity to receive teacher-led in-person learning in literacy and mathematics, along with social-emotional learning. Virtual learning will be offered to students currently enrolled in Henrico Virtual Academy. Reading and math activities will include whole-class instruction in addition to small-group instruction to meet students’ individual needs. Breakfast and lunch will be served, and transportation will be provided from each elementary school. Summer Academy will be at Maybeury Elementary this summer.

Elementary Summer Academy learning is Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 26, 2023, to July 20, 2023.  Families have the flexibility to attend the entire four weeks, or they may attend a two-week session from July 10, 2023, to July 20, 2023.  Registration for Elementary Summer Academy begins Tuesday, April 11, 2023, and ends May 12, 2023.
