This Friday we’re celebrating Book Character Spirit Day! Students are invited to dress up as their favorite book character and show off their love for reading. We can’t wait to see our hallways filled with beloved storybook characters and creative costumes.
**Refer to the Mallard Message for reminders about safety.

All month, students have brought in pet pictures, made dog pull toys, donated pet items to FURS, participated in a Walkathon and purchased Maybeury pet collars. We are so excited for our assembly this morning with a vet, dog trainer and FURS representative as PAWtober comes to a close!

It's been an engaging first quarter to set expectations, build relationships and practice respectful, responsible & safe routines for the school year. There is a student half day with dismissal @ 11:30am so teachers & staff are able to finalize grades and begin report cards for the 1st quarter.

It's Digital Citizenship Week! This is the perfect time to reinforce the Innovation lessons your students learn throughout the year about being respectful, responsible, and safe online.
We are committed to teaching these essential skills every month, but we know true digital citizenship starts at home. Check out Common Sense Media Resources @ https://www.commonsense.org/education/family-resources
You'll find practical tips on screen time and media balance.
Together, we can empower our students to be responsible, respectful & safe digital citizens at school and home!
