Please note that while teacher placements will be visible on PowerSchool this Friday, all placements are tentative until you receive a ParentSquare message from your child's teacher next Monday, August 17th.
Now is a great time to ensure that you are connected on ParentSquare! Please see our website at the link in our bio to learn how to download and set up the Parent Square app so you're ready to receive that placement message on Monday.

Happy Summer, Mallard Families!
While you're enjoying summer, we wanted to share an important update as you begin planning for the new school year.
New this year, Henrico County Public Schools is introducing a staggered start for kindergarten students to help our newest Mallards have a smooth and successful transition into elementary school.
Monday, Aug. 24:
First day for Kindergarten students (Student's Last Name A - L)
First day for students in grades 1–5
Tuesday, Aug. 25:
First day for the second half Kindergarten students (Student's Last Name M - Z)
All students in grades 1–5
Wednesday, Aug. 26:
All students attend
This staggered start gives our kindergarten students the opportunity to become familiar with their new school, meet their teachers and classmates, and begin learning daily routines before all students are together.
Additional back-to-school information and resources to help your family prepare for the first day of school are here to help set you up for a successful first day: https://www.henricoschools.us/page/back-to-school.
