Last night, Marines in Unit 89007 came in from the field to find their care packages of candy! Imagine the happiness throughout the base as they read the cards and ate the treats from home.🥰We're so proud of our Mallards, and glad we helped these soldiers feel appreciated!

Charlotte M cut the ribbon on the re-opening of our Garden! @GR_Fit4Kids chose her essay on "What Does Garden Mean to Me?" "Being deaf has always been overwhelming to me, but in the garden, all those feelings...go away. I feel safe, I feel happy."❤️@UseYourLand @Lowes @MarcieShea

Some of our 5th grade students participated in a field trip to our community partner, Welborne United Methodist Church, to help stock shelves and prepare bags for an upcoming Thanksgiving meal distribution through Henrico HEROES this week. Our students learned about what it means to volunteer, and researched volunteer opportunities in our Maybeury community during one of their weekly mentor meetings. They decorated grocery bags, and donated them, along with food donations to the Welborne food pantry. Way to go, Mallards!
