February is Heart Month! Maybeury is participating in the American Heart Association's Kids' Heart Challenge now and until February 13th. Don't forget to sign up to participate and/or donate using the QR code or information sent home with your student.

This February, we honor the incredible achievements and enduring legacy of Black leaders, creators, and innovators who have shaped Virginia and America. We celebrate their stories and legacies as we continue our commitment to learning and growing together every day!

Join us in the MES cafeteria on Thursday January 29 from 6-8pm, grab a “passport,” and learn about countries from around the globe! There will be live performances, activities and opportunities to learn about different countries and cultures from around the world. Pizza will also be served! Look out for a message to RSVP!

Our MLC (student leaders) are collecting gently used/new coats and other warm clothing. You can send in coats with students or bring them to the office. They've challenged each grade level to collect the most coats. The winner will earn an ice cream party!
