Presidents’ Day is a U.S. holiday that honors the leaders of our country, past and present. It is celebrated in the month of February because George Washington and Abraham Lincoln's birthdays are in this month.
Today is a Wellness Day (no school) for students and staff.
We are so grateful to our SRO Gentry and SSOs Mr. Hany and Mr. George for helping to create a safe place for Mallards to learn and grow.

The 100th day of school may officially have been during the snow days but we're celebrating today! We are so proud of our Mallards working hard for the past 100 days to learn and grow! Let's keep it up the hard work as we move towards warmer days ahead.

Books will be delivered on February 19th when our first Masked Reader will be announced and revealed.
Our Mallard Leadership Council is having a toy drive this month to help out the Children's Hospital. Hospital requirements that all donations must be new.
Donations can be sent to the front office.

February is American Heart Month. Mallards are taking on the American Heart Association Kid's Heart Challenge this month.

While our admin team were sneaking around being Grinchy we had some special Principals for the Day yesterday! Alex and Luke met Dr. Wilkerson, HCPS Elementary Education Director along with taking care of various tasks around the school like completing walk throughs, supporting in classrooms, helping with staff surprises and dismissal to end a fun day of being the principals! It was a great day!
